Recently two of our professinal staff members have earned some important professional designations.   Cindy Riley and Mark VonMoss  have both earned their Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.  The CIC program is administered by the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and requires successfully passing 5 exams covering all aspects of the insurance business.  Bomford, Couch and Wilson is very proud and congratulates both Cindy and Mark on their accomplishments in acheiving these designations.

Cindy also successfully completed her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation concurrently with her CIC studies.  She will be conferred with both designations at the same time.  Her had work and committment are greatly appreciated.

Mark was recently conferred his CIC designation at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame at a luncheon sponsored by the National Alliance and the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma. Cindy will be conferred at next year's ceremony.

In acheiving these designations Cindy and Mark have shown a committment to continuing their education and their ability to better serve the customers and future customers of Bomford, Couch & Wilson.

Outstanding CSR of the Year for the State of Oklahoma 2006.

It is with great pride that we congratulate Sandy Geottel for winning Outstanding CSR (Customer Service Representative) of the year for the State of Oklahoma.

This is an award given annually by The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.  The contestants compete by submitting an essay.  Her essay was entitled "Three Great Ways for a CSR to Build Good Relationships with the Company Underwriters."

By winning the state award Sandy is eligible to compete for the National CSR award.

Sandy was honored and presented the award by the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma at a luncheon in Oklahoma City.  Other attendees were Sandy's husband Don, her sister and her husband.  Other staff members who were there were James Couch, Mark VonMoss, Dabney Smith and Chris Floyd.

Sandy began her career at Bomford, Couch & Wilson in July of 1990.  She has been in the commercial insurance dept. from the beginning and now is the Commercial Lines Manager.

We are all very proud of Sandy and congratulate her for this acheivement.
